Executive Leadership
Through Gabriel's leadership, collaborating with members and staff, BOMA-Atlanta was transformed into BOMA Georgia, a statewide organization with regional, national, and international reach. He also led the organization through the Great Recession and COVID-19 pandemic while growing membership 25%, event attendance 37%, committee/task force participation 86%, educational enrollment 328%, and increasing financial reserves 1,086%. The association also created a comprehensive environmental sustainability program; implemented a strategic governance model; integrated a diversity, equity, and inclusion initiative throughout the organization; launched a scholarship program; and created a new multi-media communications and education strategy. A charitable organization, the BOMA Georgia Foundation, was also created to advance real estate education and research.

International Leadership
Gabriel co-led the development of a North American high-performance sustainable buildings designation program; worked with a cross-cultural, collaborative team of Romanian and American business professionals to produce a real estate white paper; built a communications, branding, and marketing strategy for the International Grains Program; and has consulting experience with international organizations, leading facilitation, in the United States, Canada, and virtually. Additionally, under Gabriel's leadership, intellectual property developed by BOMA Georgia has been licensed and utilized in North America and Asia.

He also has extensive academic training in international business and leadership from Kennesaw State University and Georgetown University. He has participated in business and leadership training programs in Belgium, Canada, Germany, Romania, Switzerland, Thailand, and the United Kingdom. He has also earned a leadership certificate from the Banff Center in Canada.

Philanthropic Leadership
Gabriel led the creation of the Building Owners and Managers Association of Georgia Foundation, which was created to advance real estate education and research. Since it was established in 2014, nearly $1,800,000 in revenue has been generated to advance real estate education and research. The foundation has awarded more than 600 scholarships; produced more than a dozen research projects; developed a series of resources in response to the COVID-19 pandemic; and hosted three regional conferences.

As CEO of BOMA Georgia, the association expanded its community service efforts, resulting in several proclamations and other recognition from state and local governments, and culminating in the association being named Volunteer of the Year by HomeAid Atlanta.

Additionally, Gabriel led the creation of two national charitable endowment funds that support educational and leadership training for college students throughout North America.
